  In the Lake Bienne region, 70% of the production comes from the Chasselas. One can also find some white specialities, such as the Pinot Gris, the Sylvaner, the Gewürztraminer, the Chardonnay, the Pinot Blanc and the Freisamer. The Pinot Noir is the only red vine authorized to be cultivated in the canton of Berne.

The latter represents 26% of the production in the region of Lake Bienne. In the vineyards of the Lake Thoune, the Riesling x Sylvaner is the only white vine and represents 65% of the production with 35% going to the Pinot Noir. In the region of Laufon, 60% of the production is obtained with Chasselas and 40% with Pinot Noir.
