Walks and hikes trough the vineyards

Saillon, Leytron, Chamoson, Ardon, Magnot-Vétroz
From Saillon, go up to the cross overlooking the vineyard above the village, by following a road that zigzags through the grapevines and that starts by the cemetery. When coming down again, you will reach a river (the Salentse) that you cross. The walk continues in the direction of Leytron on the alluvial cone and swings back up in the direction of Chamoson, capital of the Johannisberg region.

You can make a detour through St-Pierre-de-Clages and can visit its superb 11th century Roman art church.

From Ardon, the itinerary crosses the Lizerne Gorges to the east of the village, by following a section of the main road. From Magnot, take the vineyard path to Vétroz.
