  Vineyards
The 5 ha of the vineyard are situated on the slopes of the Allaine, close to the village of Buix. It is a very steep vineyard with a slope up to 55 % at an altitude of about 400 m. The Coopérative Centre Ajoie at Alle is the only vintner.
Climate
The vineyard takes advantage of a microclimate and its exposure toward the South. Contrary to the rest of the canton, there is no fog on these slopes in summer and autumn.
Soil
The soil is made up of a rich brown ground that lies on a stony surface in which the heat is well preserved.
