  Vineyards
The 104 ha of the Fribourg vineyard are divided into two well distinct districts: Le Vully between the Lake Murten and the Broye near the Lake Neuchâtel. Geographically the Vully vineyard is situated both on the cantons of Vaud and Fribourg, it is also the biggest viticultural region of the canton.
Climate
The lakes near the two vineyards have a beneficial influence on the climate. Their closeness softens the temperatures and regulates the climate. In certain years the region of Vully suffers from periods of drought in the summer, however this is very favourable for the vines.
Soil
In the Vully the soils are calcareous, of molasses-type and sandy. The soils of the region of Broyarde are for half clayish sandy and for half of molasses-type sandy.
